FROM WINTER STRAIGHT TO SUMMER!!!

Before I even begin I must inform you that this is in no way a complaint, rather just a likable observation.
So just last Monday, I was down and feeling a bit blue with the spring weather being a little on the chilly side, but had my hopes up to warmer weather.   Boy did I get what I was desperately awaiting!  Yesterday, Friday, May 16th, Shelby Izay invited me, Maraiya, Gina, Juliette, Lacy and Monica up to her house to let the kids play outside in the warmth that was finally here.  The people that showed up were Shelby(being it was at her house), Maraiya, Juliette, myself and Monica and all of our little tots.  Boy was it hot!!!  I got my fair share of basking in the sun, while sweating like a pig, but I tried not to complain as this weather has been desired for months now.  The temperature yesterday reached an all time high of 104 degrees and quite frankly watching the kids run through the sprinklers made me very jealous, but I wasn't about to go leapin' through the sprinkler....Shelby had a camera in hand and all I could think of was "blackmail".  Besides, I had to act like the adult that all my friends think that I am(just don't ask Bill ladies, I don't want to have to start hangin' out with your kids cuz I'm every bit a kid at heart as they are)! We all had a blast and fed our faces with good food.  Thank you to Shelby for her hospitality yesterday as I believe that we all enjoyed ourselves!
So, as you better realize that I am not complaining, I am observing this strange 40 degree fluctuation in a 5 day period....a little strange, but welcomed by me for sure.
