THE RAYS OF BEAUTY

It happened today!  The beautiful, warm, inviting, bright element that we call "sun" decided to come out from hiding.  It was glorious and still is!  I was very surprised to wake up and see it peeking in my front windows. I found a little sliver of sunlight on the floor, made a nest and napped in it for a bit.

We went outside and just chilled--rather "warmed" in the sunlight.  We, and especially I, couldn't have been happier!  I have longed for this weather for some time now.  I have lost track of how long it has been since this nice of a day has visited Cottage Grove. Pray it stays, for who knows what tomorrow will bring?  Yes, that is a picture of the sun as I needed hard evidence that this was in fact real because it is JUNE 8!! I Even caught little lady bugs enjoying the warmth while I was out wandering in our garden.  Hallelujah!  Perhaps my garden will grow now, as it has been sun deprived for a while. I hope it is here to stay for a good long time.

Just a few pics of us basking.  Love it!
