FOR GRANDMA BIRD

Ok here it is.  This is for you mom!  We had a blast.  I didn't get too wet, (probably due to the wimpy bowl that we first tried), the kids on the other hand tried EXTRA hard to get dripping wet.  They kept bobbing for different items once they mastered the apple.  Jake brought out some carrots and his eyes got huge when they all sank to the bottom. Lol. When Bill got home, we didn't let him off the hook either!  Amber never did put her face in, but she got close to the water, grabbed an apple and shoved it in her mouth!   As you can see Daisy and Tara couldn't resist....I barely caught Daisy snatching an apple and then Tara took her turn. Thanks for the idea, we had fun and thought of you!

WHY CAN'T THEY RESIST?

As I am so glad that our sprinklers are placed and working well..... I still have to ask myself the question, "WHY"?
Why can't they leave well enough alone?  I know that this is cute and innocent, but all the hard work from Bill and I for this?  Can't hurt right?  They love to play in them (eyes roll).  Oh well.... it's just a sprinkler.

FINGERPAINTING

When I normally do Amber's hair, I set her up on the counter in my bathroom, for better access.  I need to rethink my bad idea.  Most times, she is busy playing with my makeup and such (which I don't mind cuz she holds still). Well, today I didn't see the bottle of lotion and away she went.  After the first smudge on the mirror I thought, "What the heck, you go girl!  Just sit still until I am done."  She ardently painted while I finished her hair. What a lovely-lotion-layout.  I love it!
