NOTICEABLY SHORTER

I have always hated it when July rolls around(not to mention summer solstice in June), because that means that summer is coming to a close.  I know that there are at least another 6 weeks of summer left, but the days are getting noticeably shorter and the anxiety of getting school supplies  for all of the kids and the school clothes and choosing between hot or cold lunches all of that is just so buggy!  I hate the thought of getting up before 8:00 again, running the kids into town for school and just the whole homework thing.  It is a very unpleasant thought to say the least.

I have enjoyed summer with the kids home.  We laugh, play, picnic and just be.  It's a sad, sad day when you are already looking forward to next summer and here I am in the middle of the present summer as I type!  Typical depressed person?
That's how it goes these days....faster and faster.
